Job Title: Food Production Worker

Job Summary: The Food Production Worker is responsible for assisting in the production and packaging of food products in a safe, efficient, and hygienic manner. This role involves performing tasks such as ingredient preparation, cooking, quality checks, packaging, and ensuring the production area follows strict health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare raw ingredients for cooking or processing according to specific recipes and production schedules.
• Cooking/Processing: Operate production equipment (e.g., ovens, mixers, fryers) to process and cook food items, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and consistency, ensuring they meet food safety and regulatory standards. Report any issues or deviations to supervisors.
• Packaging & Labeling: Package finished products, ensuring correct labeling, weight, and packaging standards. Ensure that the product is free from contamination and meets customer specifications.
• Sanitation & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by regularly cleaning tools, equipment, and production areas, following health and safety guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient levels and report shortages to management. Assist with inventory control, including proper storage and rotation of materials.
• Compliance with Regulations: Adhere to all food safety regulations, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and other relevant local or federal food safety standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work with other production team members, supervisors, and quality control staff to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Safety Protocols: Follow safety protocols at all times, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any safety hazards immediately.
