Job Title: Stand-Up Forklift Operator

Location: East Side of Town

Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a stand-up forklift to move and organize materials within the warehouse. You will play a key role in ensuring that products are stored and retrieved safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
• Organize products in the warehouse to optimize space and ensure easy access
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklift to ensure proper functioning
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies regarding material handling
• Assist with inventory control and tracking of products
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Support team members with additional warehouse tasks as needed
• Be flexible to work overtime when required to meet deadlines or order demands

Requirements:

• Must be certified to operate a stand-up forklift
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check
• Good attendance record and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Prior forklift experience in a warehouse environment preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time while operating the forklift
• Ability to lift, bend, and carry materials as needed
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions
