We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Participate in objective setting, plan development and performance of plant performance.
• Initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
• Maintains and repairs shop equipment, including Saunders, Tenny's, Sun Control and Delta ovens.
• Establishes and maintains a computerized maintenance management system( CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
• Tracks, analyzes and improves key maintenance parameters such as assets utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of manufacturing/facility maintenance working with mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• Experience with working in an ESD safe environment.
• Strong Proficiency with basic office computer software, e.g., word processing, email, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to work effectively with computerized Maintenance Management System. (CMMS)

Physical Requirements & Working Environment:

• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work in high, precarious places up to elevations of 175 feet.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience manufacturer of aerospace flight hardware.
• Continuous improvement experience.
• Experience functioning and maintaining clean-room environment.
• Work independently and alongside cross-functional teams with proven history of meeting deadlines.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles,5S,and Kaizen projects to improve overall operations.

Must be able to pass the E-verify.
