Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Packaging Specialist to join our team. The Packaging Specialist will be responsible for ensuring products are properly packaged for shipment, maintaining packaging standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support the company’s goals of delivering products to customers on time and in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare products for shipment by securely packaging them in accordance with company guidelines and customer specifications.
• Operate packaging machinery, such as sealers, wrappers, and labeling systems.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards before packaging.
• Label packages accurately, including shipping labels, barcodes, and handling instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area.
• Manage inventory of packaging materials and reorder supplies as necessary.
• Assist in the development of packaging materials and processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely packaging and shipping of products.
• Perform quality checks to ensure packaging integrity and compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure that packaged products are stored in appropriate conditions until shipment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in packaging or logistics is a plus.
• Previous experience in packaging or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with packaging machinery and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in packaging.
• Ability to lift and move products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking shipments.

Work Environment: This role requires working in a warehouse or production environment, with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical activity.
