Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist/Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of products and services through comprehensive testing processes. This role involves identifying defects, conducting various tests (manual and automated), and collaborating with development teams to enhance product quality, performance, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Design test cases, test scripts, and test data for functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Manual and Automated Testing:

  • Perform manual testing to evaluate product functionality and user experience.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts for regression and performance testing.
  • Ensure automated tests are run regularly as part of the CI/CD pipeline.

• Defect Tracking:

  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues through a bug tracking system.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings.

• Reporting and Documentation:

  • Create comprehensive test reports, including test results, defect status, and test coverage.
  • Ensure test documentation is well-organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Conduct performance testing to assess product scalability, load handling, and speed.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance under various conditions.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Suggest process improvements for testing procedures, tools, and methodologies.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in quality assurance
