Partners Personnel has a Business Development Account Manager position with a leading company in Kennesaw, Georgia. This is a direct hire position with a yearly salary $55 - 60k

The Business Development Account Manager's main objective is to develop strong relationships with assigned customers. They also answer customer queries, upsell, and follow up on quotes submitted to customers. 

Essential Functions:

  • Maximize business opportunities with new and existing clients by building and maintaining client relationships
  • Present quotes to customer, obtain preliminary design approval, fabrication commitment and/or order acknowledgement, and change orders
  • Submitting and collecting on job deposit invoices

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with marketing to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
  • Stay up to date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
  • Explain fabrication process, timelines, and introduce Project Coordinator to the customer
  • Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company
  • Enter sales
  • Work with Project coordinator to ensure customer expectations and deadlines are met
  • Maintain YOY increases in sales revenues with each assigned brand while attracting new brands
  • Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels of fulfillment
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to pursue identified opportunities
  • Organize, update, and maintain customer base in CRM by recording changes to customer accounts, updating service requests, adding accounts, and removing accounts as needed
  • Act as the primary responder for all incoming assigned client and customer calls
  • Trace progress towards meeting sales goals
  • Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management
  • Collecting necessary customer information
  • Entering pre-quotes
  • Creating design requests

  • Skills and Qualifications:

    • 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or customer service
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
    • Time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office and Excel
    • Able to operate in a fast-paced market under pressure and tight deadlines
