Pay rate: $20-$22

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am - 4:30pm

Job Requirements:

•    Inspect raw materials, in-process furniture, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications. 

•    Conduct detailed visual and physical assessments of furniture items, checking for defects, flaws, or discrepancies in materials, construction, and finish. 

•    Measure dimensions and verify structural integrity to ensure durability and performance standards. 

•    Test functionality of various furniture components (e.g., drawers, hinges, recliners) to ensure proper operation and safety. 

•    Record and document inspection results, including defect types and severity, and generate reports for production teams. 

•    Collaborate with production and design teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. 

•    Conduct random sampling and spot checks to monitor the consistency of production quality. 

•    Ensure all furniture products meet health and safety regulations and company standards. 

•    Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all safety protocols. 

•    Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements in processes and product designs to enhance product quality. 

•    Assist in training new staff in quality control procedures and standards.

•    Ability to lift and move furniture items up to 30 pounds. 

•    Ability to stand, walk, bend, and crouch for extended periods. 

•    Ability to perform detailed inspections requiring close visual attention.
