We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler.  The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a food manufacturing environment. 

Job Title: Material Handler

Pay rate: $16.75 ($.0.75 pay increase after 3/4 weeks of training)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (11:00 AM to 7:00 PM) 

Must be able to train during 1st shift hours 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM for 3/4 weeks

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks related to Shipping and Receiving as follows:

  Properly maintains stock, allowing for safe storage and handling.

  Prepares load sheets and receives tallies, when necessary.

  Loads and unloads trucks, maintaining effective business relations with truck drivers.

  Performs cycle counts and physical inventories as scheduled.

  Maintains equipment in a safe condition.

  Provides satisfactory customer service relations regarding customer pickups.

  
  

  Skills/Requirements:
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to follow some routine, repetitive tasks.
• Ability to maintain and operate powered cleaning, service equipment, and trash compactor.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work, exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently, performing such activities as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, pinching and grasping are possible.
• Ability to operate power equipment for material handling.
