We are currently hiring for Raw Material Preparation Operator

Job Title: Raw Material Preparation Operator

Pay Rate:  $17.00

Schedule (Days and Time): 1:30pm-10:00pm M-F

Job Duties/Responsibilities 

•    Operate Raw Material Preparation production equipment in accordance with standardized techniques 

•    Ensure timely and consistent raw material charges and bulk material to Extrusion Department,

•    Ensure proper identification labeling of all charges produced.

•    Order, book, and transport required raw materials from warehouse using SAP as assigned.

•    Record all used raw material lot numbers in weigh stations (scanning into CCS).

•    Identify, label, and return unused raw materials from PRB to designated returns area.

•    Ensure Raw Material Preparation areas are kept clean and organized.

•    Active involvement in and support for continuous improvement activities within the work center (daily housekeeping, organization, ownership, etc.).

•    Adhere to established policies, procedures, and SOP’s, paying special attention to safety guidelines.

•    Notify supervisor and/or management of any material discrepancies, safety hazards, personnel injuries or any conditions that might affect product quality or on-time delivery.

Job Requirements

•    High School Graduate or GED

•    Manufacturing Experience

•    Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

•    Required at various times to stand, bend, lift, and walk.

•    Mechanical Aptitude

•    Math Aptitude

•    Reading Skills

•    Organization Skills

•    Forklift Driving

•    Ability to lift up to 55 pounds bags of raw material or totes.
