Job Description: Production Line Worker

Location: Rincon, GA
Pay Rate: $16-$17 per hour
Various Shifts Available

Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our production team as a Production Line Worker in Rincon, GA. This role is ideal for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. We require a facility tour prior to being selected and scheduled for orientation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in various aspects of the production line, processing poultry products. Typical assignments may include packing, palletizing, grinding, margination, stack off, Multivac, overwrap, and/or quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Inspect poultry products for quality and consistency to ensure they meet production standards.
• Package and label finished products accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold food safety standards and hygiene.
• Assist in other production tasks such as grinding, margination, and palletizing as needed.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent education is preferred, but not required.
• Experience in protein processing or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including bending, reaching, and moving boxes.

Work Environment: The successful candidate will be working in a plant environment, which includes:

• Exposure to wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• Standing for long periods while performing repetitive tasks.
• Lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs by reaching, bending, and pushing boxes.
• Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required.
• Working in an environment with temperatures ranging from 31 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Handling products at varying temperatures between 25 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

Note: A facility tour is required before being selected and scheduled for orientation. This provides you with a clear understanding of the environment and expectations for the position.
