Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our food manufacturing equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment, adhering to safety and operational standards.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems in food production and packaging equipment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and optimize machinery performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts usage and equipment status.
Adhere to all company safety protocols and industry regulations, including food safety standards.
Assist in equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance areas and ensure tools are in good condition.
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum [3 years] of experience in maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing or a similar environment.
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMPs).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
