Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled EREMA Machine Operator who will also support shipping and receiving operations. This role involves operating and maintaining the EREMA repelletizing machine, performing quality control inspections, and handling materials using forklifts. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, enjoy working independently, and have solid machine operation and troubleshooting experience. Training will be provided during the day (8 AM - 4 PM) for 1-2 months, after which the permanent night shift will begin (8 PM - 8 AM).

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

• Start-up, operate, and shut down the EREMA repelletizing machine.
• Perform maintenance on reel feeders, cutter-compactors, pelletizer heads, shaker tables, and transfer equipment.
• Change extruder screens and replace pelletizer and cutter-compactor blades as needed.
• Monitor and maintain water tank levels; clean debris periodically.
• Load infeed conveyors with stock material and change the box at the fill stand when full.
• Weigh, label, and store filled boxes in a safe and orderly manner.

Inspection / Quality Control:

• Inspect regrind stock to eliminate contaminants.
• Inspect finished pellets for size, shape, and uniformity, making process adjustments as needed.
• Verify that pellets are dry and free from contamination.
• Maintain required documentation and follow established guidelines.

Shipping and Receiving:

• Operate forklifts to load/unload goods and organize inventory.
• Verify accuracy of shipments and incoming goods, ensuring proper storage.
• Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform routine equipment checks and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Experience with EREMA machine operation and maintenance.
• Solid machine troubleshooting skills.
• Forklift certification (stand-up and sit-down) required.
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail.
• Willingness to train during the day (8 AM - 4 PM) for 1-2 months before transitioning to the night shift.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus.
