Job Description:

Sort incoming and outgoing mail by hand or using automated equipment according to destination and type (letters, packages, etc.).

Organize mail into appropriate bins, trays, or containers based on zip codes, routes, or categories.

Ensure mail is accurately and efficiently processed for delivery.

Inspect mail and packages for damage or irregularities and report any issues to supervisors.

Ensure that all items meet postal regulations and safety standards.

Maintain accuracy in sorting and processing to prevent mis-delivery.
