A leading production and packaging food company in Chesterfield, VA is seeking a Safety Supervisor (Bilingual - English & Spanish) to oversee the safety operations during the overnight shift. This position will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, complying with all safety regulations, and proactively identifying and addressing potential hazards within the facility located in Richmond, VA!

Job Title: Safety Supervisor (Bilingual - English & Spanish) (Full Time)

Pay Rate: $$22.00 - $24.00 / hour with Weekly Pay / Plus Overtime

Schedule (Day and Time): 6 Days a Week  /  Overnight shift (6pm-6am) -12 hour shift

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• 
  
  • Safety Program Management: Maintain and enforce safety programs and protocols in line with industry standards and company policies.
  • Training & Development: Lead safety training sessions for both new and existing employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections of the facility and equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance. Implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement safety improvements.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure the facility adheres to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and food safety guidelines.
  • Emergency Planning: Develop and implement emergency response plans to address potential hazards.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, inspections, and compliance audits. Provide regular safety performance reports and recommend improvements to management.

  Job requirements:
  

• Previous experience in a lead role is preferred, but supervisor experience is not required.
• Food industry experience is a plus (fast food industry leads are encouraged to apply).
• 3-5 years of experience in safety-related roles is preferred, but not required.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a requirement.
