Job Title: High-Reach Forklift Operator

Location: Elizabethtown Area

Pay Rate: $20 - $21 per hour

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 AM until finished (Overtime required)

Working Conditions:

Cold and damp environments, including freezers

Typical temperatures: 32°F, freezer temperatures: 0°F to -10°F

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced High-Reach Forklift Operators for a premier warehouse in the Elizabethtown area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and performing various warehouse tasks, ensuring efficient operations in cold storage environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely load and unload trucks

Store products in designated areas using high-reach forklifts

Build pallets up to 6 feet high

Achieve high picking accuracy for orders

Handle raw materials and finished goods for food production

Support production room operations

Pick Single Source orders for 2nd shift, meeting a quota of 120 cases/hour

Secure loads with protective materials and dispose of waste properly

Perform other duties as assigned

Move and lift wooden skids or pallets as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 1 year of high-reach forklift and warehouse experience

Experience with dock operations and order picking preferred

FSQA training completion is a plus

Basic math and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Familiarity with general warehouse practices

Physical Requirements:

Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and grasping

Lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs for extended periods

Operation of forklifts in cold conditions

Working around heavy machinery

Additional Requirements:

Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Strong adherence to safety protocols
