Maintenance Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure seamless operation. The role requires troubleshooting mechanical systems, diagnosing malfunctions, and making necessary repairs while adhering to safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment, machinery, and building systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly to resolve issues.
Use technical manuals, schematics, and tools to diagnose problems.
Document all maintenance work, repairs, and inspections accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Adhere to safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Assist with facility upgrades, installations, and equipment modifications.
Provide recommendations for maintenance improvements and cost-saving measures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
Minimum [3 years] experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a related role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency with tools, machines, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
Experience in operating forklifts, lifts, or other heavy machinery (certification preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical labor.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
