Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Summary:
We are looking for a versatile and skilled Material Handler to join our team in Hiram, GA. The role involves operating production machinery and forklifts to ensure efficient material handling and production processes. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who values safety, precision, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

A Material Handler/Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and loading of materials within a warehouse or production facility. This role involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to ensure the accurate and timely handling of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials within the facility using forklifts or other equipment. This includes moving goods between storage areas, production lines, and shipping/receiving docks.

  
  

• Inventory Management: Accurately record inventory movements, maintain organized storage areas, and assist with periodic inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.

• Order Fulfillment: Pick and prepare materials for shipment based on order specifications, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected.

  
  

  
  

• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts and other material-handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  
  

  
  

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any safety hazards or incidents.

  
  

  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with inventory systems and order-picking processes is beneficial.

  
  

  
  

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, or reaching.
