We are currently seeking a Production Technician with WIRING experience for a leading company specializing in home lighting, furniture, and outdoor accessories.
Job Title: WIRING Production Technician
Pay rate: $19.00 - $20.00/hr. (depends on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
Job Duties:
The WIRING Production Technician is primary responsible for wiring for regular items, STA orders and rewire for return items, will also be cross train for glass production, finishing including painting, crating, and packaging of our products. The Production Technician role is an onsite role that reports to the Production Manager |
Essential Duties: |
- Wiring incoming items from containers, perform ground testing, hypot test, continuity test, check light bulb to meet the UL and TUV standard.

- Rewire items for oversea from 110 to 220 for STA order
|
- Finishes-Help to touch up items from production, Return Department and Product Development. Also perform custom finishes for STA order; will also be learning Line-X painting for outdoor items.

- Packaging-Help to package table lamp, chandelier, shades, and etc.
|
- Crating-help to build pallets for large items, create special crate for overside items, shrink wrap items and etc.
|
- Glass Production-Help to cut different sizes glass to fit different fixtures. Future glass oven training for glass production to bend different sizes glasses.

- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
|
- Assists with cycle counting inventory in production area; help to move finish good items to designated staging area to be put away for shipment.
|
REQUIREMENTS: |
- Reading – Must be able to read English for the purpose of comparing product descriptions for received products to product orders.
|
- Writing – Ability to record inventory counts and write the necessary information English
|
- Mathematics – Fundamental knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and basic division. Must also be able to count and record numbers.
|
- Forklift certification is preferred; however, training will be provided if necessary.
|
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
|
- Prior warehouse environment experience.
|
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
|
Experience: |
- Inventory Movement - Use of Scanforce system, In/out bin transfers, Cycle counting and Put-away.
|
|
- Glass Production- Glass cutting, Machine maintenance and Glass Oven (Future training).
|
Physical Demands: |
- Lift up to 25 pounds and work with others to reach heavy items stacked in containers.
|
- Warehouse environment – Temperature swings in summer and winter.
