The Packer is responsible for preparing products for shipment by packing them securely and accurately. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow safety guidelines, and the capability to handle various products efficiently. The Packer will ensure that items are packed to meet company standards and that all necessary documentation is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing Products: Pack products into boxes or containers, ensuring that items are secure and protected during shipping.
• Labeling: Properly label packed items with correct shipping and product information.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damages before packing and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of packed items, including tracking and labeling shipments.
• Order Fulfillment: Ensure that the correct products and quantities are packed as per customer orders.
• Weight and Measurement: Weigh and measure items as required for shipping and ensure that they conform to shipping regulations.
• Operate Packing Equipment: Use packing machines, sealing equipment, and other tools as necessary.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain Clean Work Area: Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of clutter.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in packing, shipping, or warehouse roles is a plus.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating weights and dimensions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good attention to detail and quality control.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to bend, twist, and reach as required during the packing process.
