Job Posting: Jacket Machine Operator
Location: Groveland

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Jacket Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll operate a Jacket machine to produce jackets of various sizes, ensuring they meet quality standards and schedules. You'll follow established procedures while working in a safe and productive manufacturing environment.

Schedule:

9:30 PM - 5:30 AM

Monday - Friday (Weekends as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all company safety rules and guidelines.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot the Jacket machine.
• Perform equipment changeovers as required.
• Identify and prepare raw materials using part numbers.
• Ensure adhesive application meets specifications at the start of each shift.
• Stamp date codes on products as needed.
• Complete First Article inspections and quality documentation for each production run.
• Maintain daily cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Support additional projects or duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Strong attention to detail and good judgment.
• Mechanical aptitude to handle equipment setup and troubleshooting.

• Physical Requirements:
• Stand (up to 90%) and walk (up to 10%) during shifts.
• Bend, twist, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and foot movements.
• 
  
• Experience: Prior machine operator experience is helpful but not required.
• 
  
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 
  

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing facility with forklift traffic.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: safety shoes, glasses, and gloves.
