We are currently hiring Production Associates for a company that manufactures water treatment systems.

Job Title:  Production Associate

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM  

Pay rate: $18.00/hr. 

Responsibilities:

• Produces parts and/or materials according to procedures and standards through the safe operation of production equipment.
• Assemble parts according to procedures and standards utilizing fittings, clips, cements, or otherwise fasten parts together.
• Package assembled products to fill orders, maintaining and ensuring product quality to the highest standard. 
• Report defective material or quality concerns to Supervisor or Quality Engineer when they arise.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work areas.
• Responsible for following all safety procedures and policies.

Key Performance Indicators 

• Develops the skills to perform basic, repetitive activities on one or more piece of equipment or area of work
• Ability to maintain flow of parts within the established cycle time with minimal errors
• Develops the ability to detect quality imperfections on parts
• Demonstrates safe practice of hand-held tools
• Quality of team communications

Physical Effort and Work Environment

• Work performed in a shop environment, during an 8-hour shift
• Standing, stepping onto platforms, bending and reaching required throughout the entire shift
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools and cutting tools
• Personal Protective Equipment including but not limited to safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection and dust mask required in specific areas
• Exposed to chemicals (acetone, alcohol, leak detector soap), hot melt, shavings and noise, dust, compressed air and seasonal heat
• Ability and stamina to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
