Job Title: Camp Operator
Location: Carson, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

We are a leading 3PL (third-party logistics) provider located in Carson, CA, seeking a reliable Camp Operator to join our team. This role involves overseeing the daily operations within a logistical camp environment, ensuring efficiency and safety across various operational tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage operations within the camp, ensuring that all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.

• Supervise loading and unloading of materials and goods.

• Monitor inventory and ensure proper documentation is maintained for all incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) when necessary.

• Ensure safety standards are consistently adhered to, providing guidance and support to team members.

• Perform routine checks on equipment and facilities, ensuring all are in proper working condition.

• Collaborate with other departments to meet operational goals and timelines.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.

 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is preferred, but not required.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (training may be provided if necessary).

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift up to [50] pounds and perform physical tasks as required.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Must be reliable and punctual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
