Inside Sales
Job Summary: Position processes customers orders received. Assist customers with inquiries regarding orders, shipments, prices and stock. Supports sales staff with customer information. Duties and Responsibilities: ? Records and processes orders, inquiries and quotations received by telephone, fax, email, personal contact and daily mail. ? Provides pricing/delivery within established guidelines. ? Researches and obtains resolution of a variety of customer complaints and issues. ? Tracks order activity and alerts appropriate personnel whenever necessary. ? Serves as communication link between customer and sales personnel to assure responsiveness. ? Suggests additional and/or alternative products or services to meet customer needs. ? Supports the needs of sales management and staff. ? Maintains maintenance of customer master file. ? Assists with daily invoicing and processing credits when necessary. ? Cross-trained to assist with other job functions within the department when required. 1Skill and Educational Requirements Customer service experience, computer literate (Microsoft Office Applications/email), AS400 experience would be a plus, High School or GED minimum. Inter-Relationships Position communicates with customers and outside sales representatives. This position also has communication with other members in department, manager and sales management as well as members of staff in plant area. Working Conditions Office Environment. No travel.
