Job Description:

We are a fast-growing party rental company in Indio, CA, seeking a reliable and hardworking Loading and Unloading Associate to join our team. This full-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive timely and efficient service by helping with the loading and unloading of party rental equipment. You will be responsible for safely handling equipment, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service when delivering rentals to events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload party rental equipment, including tents, tables, chairs, linens, audio equipment, and other event items.
• Ensure all items are properly secured for transportation to prevent damage during delivery.
• Maintain inventory by organizing and tagging rental items as they are returned or prepared for dispatch.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment to ensure everything is in working order before and after events.
• Work efficiently with the delivery team to ensure timely arrivals and pick-ups for scheduled events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and loading areas.
• Assist in managing equipment stock and report any damages or shortages to management.
• Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment and handling rental items.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse, loading, or party rental services is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more) on a regular basis.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, depending on the event schedule.
