We are currently seeking a Configuration Tech for a leading technology service provider. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a warehouse/production environment. Equipment varies from workplace devices, mobile devices, network devices, and some rack build as well.

Job Title: Configuration Tech

Pay rate: $20.00/hr.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Configure and install hardware and software components for various systems.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of systems to ensure functionality and performance.
• Assist in the installation and configuration of hardware and software systems.
• Conduct basic testing of configured systems to verify functionality.
• Identify and troubleshoot common issues, escalating more complex problems as needed.
• Support customer installations and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Monitor and report on configuration compliance and recommend improvements.

Qualifications/Technical Proficiency:

• Experience with Windows computer imaging and deployment tools.
• Familiarity with Apple mobile device configuration and management.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking gear configuration.
• General Proficiency in troubleshooting Computer hardware and software issues.

A minimum of One year of experience in the following areas is required:

• IT support or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment.
• Imaging and deploying computers.
• Configuring and supporting Apple mobile devices.

Desired Certifications:

• CompTIA A+
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+
