Quality Techinican
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Perform visual quality check on all finished products.
• Performs routine Incoming and In-process dimensional and visual inspections based on established quality specifications
• Inspects product samples to evaluate the quality of the full product batch prior to release to finished goods inventory
• Initiate Non-Conforming Material reports as required
• Identify and ensure the movement of non-conforming materials to designated quarantine areas
• Input accurate and timely data into quality reporting systems.
• Ensure inspections are timely, effective, and routinely maintained.
• Trains the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence as needed.
• Perform product and manufacturing process audits on the shop floor.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding quality issues found.
• Performs required SAP Transactions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
• Must be able to use measuring devices.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant technical tools.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various aspects of inventory control simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, vendors, and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving and process improvement.
• Experience with SAP preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Personal Qualifications
