Assist with upkeep of shop machines/forklifts; consisting of adding coolant and oil

· Load and unload finished pieces from shop machines

· Preparing finished materials for shipment

· Keeping shop floor clean at all times

· Assisting the shipping department

· Observe necessary safety precautions

· Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed.

· Any other duties as requested by the respective supervisor and/or manager

Qualifications

· Experience operating a forklift

· Stable work history, preferably in a warehouse/distribution environment

· Can work independently with minimal supervision

· Committed to working safely at all times including a commitment to the policies and procedures of the operation

· Positive attitude and a good team member

Physical Requirements

· Able to work outdoors in all adverse weather conditions: extreme heat and cold

· Ability to complete the physical aspects of the job including long periods of standing, bending, twisting, walking, lifting, repetitive climbing, etc.

· Willing to reliably fulfill the designated work schedule inclusive of overtime
