Job Title: Machine Operator (Heavy-Duty Equipment)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, with occasional minimal overtime and some Saturdays.

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate and maintain heavy-duty machinery used in the processing of aluminum products. While prior experience with our specific machines is not required, a background in running heavy-duty machinery is essential. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor heavy-duty machinery to process aluminum products.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machinery issues to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of machine operations and production.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating heavy-duty machinery, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Additional Information:

• This is a temp-to-hire position, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and company needs.
• We are open to negotiating the hourly rate based on your experience and skills.

• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.

Dress Code:

• Casual dress code; shorts are allowed during summer.
• NO OPEN-TOE SHOES. Sneakers, boots, and tennis shoes are acceptable.
• No slogans or lingo on clothing (plain t-shirts and shorts are fine).
