We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Battery Technician to join our team. As a Battery Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of batteries and battery systems. This role involves working with various types of batteries, ensuring they are operating efficiently and safely, and performing routine inspections and tests. Job Title: Battery Technician
Pay Rate: $23.00
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Package and secure battery packs or battery part to prepare for shipping.

Provide minor diagnostic work to determine root cause of non-working batteries.

Provide repair to refurbish vehicle batteries for redeployment.

Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.

Disassemble battery packs using various tools.

Job Requirements:

Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors.

Individual lifting up to 50 lbs.

Constant sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping, lifting.

Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements under safety guidelines.
