Job Title: Forklift Driver

Job Overview: As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to transport materials and products within the warehouse or facility. Your role is vital in ensuring that goods are stored, organized, and moved safely and efficiently. You will also be expected to follow safety procedures and maintain the equipment in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Forklifts: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials to and from various locations within the facility.
• Material Handling: Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and containers. Ensure that materials are stored properly and organized for easy access.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by recording the movement of goods and materials. Conduct periodic inventory checks as required.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper lifting techniques.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to the maintenance department.
• Documentation: Complete and maintain necessary paperwork related to material handling, such as shipping and receiving logs, inventory records, and safety checklists.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues related to material handling.
