We are currently hiring for Oven Operator for a premier Bakery located in the Richmond, Ca area. Our client offers on the job training, long term employment opportunities. 

Job Title: Oven Operator 

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday

                  4am - 12:30pm

MUST be available to work OT and weekends and be flexible with start and end times.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities

Ensure products consistently meet or exceed quality standards and align with customer specifications.

Maintain productivity to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Safely operate machinery and equipment

Set and monitor oven temperatures to ensure they are within the appropriate range for daily production requirements.

 Time and visually monitor all batches in ovens to prevent over or under-baking.

Take and record temperatures of products during baking as per specifications.

 Inspect products for adherence to quality standards and promptly report any

deviations to the lead and/or supervisor.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in large-scale baking or another comparable fast-paced, quality-focused environment is preferred

Basic mathematical skills, including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, calculator usage, and reading a thermometer.

Ability to perform basic computation functions and accurately complete written records. 

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices as trained during orientation

Able to lift 25 lbs.
