Bellevue Company looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Facility Custodian. 

Job Title: Facilities Outdoor (exterior) 

Pay Rate: $20.50

Schedule: Day shift Weekend availability Required Full-Time 

The primary function of the facilities exterior personnel is to keep facilities clean, safe and in an orderly condition while responding to direction from supervisor, management and executive staff. A facilities exterior personnel can expect to perform heavy cleaning duties including, but not limited to, hard and carpeted floors, walls, glass, removing rubbish, operating equipment of all sizes and event set up.

Facilities employees must possess the following skills and specifications: 

• Must be dependable, responsible, honest, and hardworking. 

• Must be able to learn quickly and follow directions. 

• Must be able to communicate using a hand-held radio. 

• Must have good interpersonal skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES Within assigned areas, this position requires the following. Other duties will be assigned as needed. 

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring, stairs, sidewalks, garages, elevators, and epoxy floors and drives. 

• Clean, sanitize, and replace supplies in garage rooms and facilities, including toilets, urinals, sinks, and countertops. 

• Empty all trash cans that are more than half full, replace liners, and clean receptacles as necessary. 

• Operate hand-held and backpack style blowers for debris removal. 

• Drive lifts and utility vehicles in a safe and efficient manner on sidewalks, narrow walkways, and around customers. 

• Assist with cleaning snow and leaves during fall/winter seasons with shovels, snow blowers, and plows. • Pressure wash drives and sidewalks as needed. 

• Place full trash bags into a 55-gallon bucket on casters. When full wheel to dumpster chute for disposal. 

• Cleaning windowsills and windows. 

• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner. 

• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition. 

• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals. 

• Always wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment. 

• Wipe down any tables in the area; rearranges chairs and mop up any spills that may occur. 

• Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings and events as necessary. 

• Be properly equipped with dustpan, broom, putty knife, cleaning rags, and spray bottle at all times. 

• Deliver superior customer service. EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

• Minimum high school diploma or GED. 

• Experience in Janitorial fields related to Retail and/or office cleaning is preferred. 

• Experience using heavy equipment related to hard floor cleaning and carpet care.
