Direct Placement 

Salary: $65-$85K DOE 

Schedule: Mon-Fri W/ occasional Saturdays (typically 8 hour days)

Job Duties: 1The R&D Formulator will play a key role in the research and development of powder and capsule formulations. This hands-on position requires close collaboration with our quality and production teams to drive projects from concept through to production. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and testing formulations, ensuring they meet client specifications, and overseeing the transition from lab to full-scale production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop prototype samples, scale-up plans, and confirm the viability of production formulations.

• Gather, store, and document samples in the laboratory.

• Ensure materials and formulations comply with written client specifications.

• Conduct raw material evaluations, document all data during testing, and assess viability in a production environment.

• Participate in various phases of R&D and product development, including processing lab batches and scaling up using equipment such as scales, blenders, and encapsulation machines.

• Flavor experience is a plus, though not required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of R&D and formulation experience in nutraceuticals.

• In-depth knowledge of powder and encapsulation behaviors.

• Experience in nutraceutical production is a strong advantage.

• Basic understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science, Nutrition, or a related field (Preferred).
