Location: Fort Myers, FL 

Pay: $60.000 - $78.000 + DOE 

Schedule: Monday – Friday 

Shift: 1st Monday - Friday 6:00am – 4:00pm 

Maintenance Mechanic: Will Support all production/facility equipment during normal operation, perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, and maintain facility in top condition. 

Duties: 

• Routinely inspects and maintains building and installed systems including packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and grounds. 

• Performs minor and routine repairs including painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities. 

• Maintains heating and air conditioning units for the facility. 

• Assists with the installation and modification of building equipment systems. 

• Creates and maintains up-to-date service and replacement data files for building equipment and machinery. 

• Acts as agent for procurement of service contracts/repair work; assists with purchase of many facility fixtures and equipment. 

• Communicates need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment to appropriate manager. 

• Responds in a timely fashion to problems related to facility maintenance and repair. 

• Makes recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities. 

• Inspects buildings, grounds, and equipment of unsafe or malfunctioning conditions. 

• Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. 

• Maintains a clean, safe working environment. 

• Possesses and maintains a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations. 

• Prepares required reports and correspondence. 

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management. 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent. 

• One to two years related experience or equivalent. 

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC, plumbing, electrical, and industrial maintenance. 

• Ability to work at heights and in inclement weather.
