Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: $60.000 - $78.000 + DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 1st Monday - Friday 6:00am – 4:00pm
Maintenance Mechanic: Will Support all production/facility equipment during normal operation, perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, and maintain facility in top condition.
Duties:
Routinely inspects and maintains building and installed systems including packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and grounds.
Performs minor and routine repairs including painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
Maintains heating and air conditioning units for the facility.
Assists with the installation and modification of building equipment systems.
Creates and maintains up-to-date service and replacement data files for building equipment and machinery.
Acts as agent for procurement of service contracts/repair work; assists with purchase of many facility fixtures and equipment.
Communicates need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment to appropriate manager.
Responds in a timely fashion to problems related to facility maintenance and repair.
Makes recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
Inspects buildings, grounds, and equipment of unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Maintains a clean, safe working environment.
Possesses and maintains a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations.
Prepares required reports and correspondence.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
One to two years related experience or equivalent.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC, plumbing, electrical, and industrial maintenance.
Ability to work at heights and in inclement weather.
