Position Title: Full-Time Record Center Specialist (Temp to Hire)

Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Description: As a Record Center Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the efficient management of our storage facility. This physically demanding position requires regular kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending as you move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes. These items can weigh between 25-35 lbs, and you will handle them both manually and with the use of hand carts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Processing: Accurately process orders, moving boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Inventory Management: Use our proprietary computer system to track orders and locate boxes.
• Manual Handling: Lift, move, and arrange boxes, reading labels to ensure proper handling of incoming and outgoing orders.
• Equipment Operation: Operate handheld scanners, hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools.
• Safety and Efficiency: Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts, and manually load pallets onto trucks.
• Mobility: Climb and balance on ladders, and navigate uneven surfaces while safely operating hand trucks and pallet jacks.

Physical Requirements:

• Manual Labor: Engage in manual lifting, carrying, and moving/arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
• Endurance: Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Strength: Lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface or elevation.
• Heavy Lifting: Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods.

• Warehouse Setting: Fast-paced and non-climate controlled.
