Establish and supervise production scheduling activities in the following ways: • Monitor product inventories • Track progress of loads and review factors that affect schedules • Daily entering of data and compiling/completing time-sensitive reports • Check drivers in & out throughout day, print BOL’s and outbound details. • Obtain shipper’s releases number, destination, and trailer number. • Assign doors to drivers. Provide customer service at all times to customers and visitors in the following ways: • Manage customer order handling, inventory control, and material handling functions • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mails, letters, packages etc.). • Assisting with inquiries and problem resolution • Prepare customer delivery reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends and use information to proactively communicate with customers Identify, develop and manage effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality and delivery targets.
