Job Title: Waste Tech

Description: 

Manage on-site trash, recyclable and compostable waste on the properties we service. Responsible for operating company vehicles and completing scheduled route, ensuring the proper disposal of waste materials while upholding our commitment safety and environmental standards. 

Pay Rate: $20.00/HR

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4:00 AM - Finish

Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

- Operate company vehicle to complete scheduled daily routes

- Practice defensive driving, adhering to all traffic laws, signals. and markings with consideration for the safety of other drivers, passengers, and pedestrians

- Sort trash, recycling, and compostable materials on-site, adhering to established guidelines

- Manually compact and redistribute material in bins to optimize space and efficiency 

- Sweep and maintain trash enclosures, trash rooms, and trash chutes

- Haul bulky  items off-site, including furniture. equipment. mattresses, etc

- Document services performed by taking before and after photos as per company procedures

- Assists with additional duties as needed

Requirements:

- Valid Driver's License

- Must be able to meet and maintain company insurance/DMV eligibility 

- Add and Subtract two digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10's and 100's. Preform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance

- Computer skills

- Must be fluent in English 

- Able to stand 90% of the time

- Able to lift/carry 50lbs; move and maneuver dumpsters with up to 100lbs of force

- Able to ascend/descend a ladder to service inside the waste dumpsters
