Job Title: Shipping and Logistics Associate

 We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Logistics Associates to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of shipping procedures and logistics, along with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

- Accurately ship various tactical gear items to support quick turnaround of customer orders.

- Process small parcels efficiently, ensuring items are packaged securely for transit.

- Maintain detailed records on outgoing shipments, including tracking information and delivery confirmation.

- Assemble and fill boxes and cartons with items to be shipped, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage.

- Stack and wrap pallets for larger shipments, following safety protocols and guidelines.

- Clean and dress boxes and cartons as needed to maintain a professional appearance.

- Determine the most cost-effective method of shipment based on shipping procedures, rates, and routes.

- Process orders using preferred shipping systems (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.

- Review freight costs and transportation rates to minimize shipping expenses where possible.

- Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs, including customer addresses and special instructions.

- Coordinate with carriers to schedule shipping for each package, ensuring timely pickup and delivery.

- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including organizing shipping materials and supplies.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in shipping and logistics preferred, particularly in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders and maintaining records.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

- Knowledge of shipping procedures, rates, and carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx).

- Proficiency in using shipping software and systems to process orders and print labels.

- Effective communication skills for coordinating with carriers and other team members.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment.

- Physical ability to lift and move packages of various sizes and weights.

- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including proper handling of shipping materials and supplies.
