We are currently hiring for an experienced food manufacturing Machine Operator for a premier Bakery located in the Hayward, CA area. 

Job Title: Machine Operator 1 

Pay Rate: $23.25 per hour 

Schedule: 

Monday - Friday 

10:30PM - 6:45AM 

MUST be available to work OT and weekends and be flexible with start and end times. Machine Operators may be scheduled for up to 4 hours of overtime per day as needed. 

Job Duties/ Responsibilities: 

Runs production machinery, makes adjustments as needed to improve quality of baked good being produced. 

Report immediately any machinery issues. 

Must fill and record daily production requirements sheet. 

Follows company's GMP and other food safety and quality requirements. 

Checks finished goods and machinery reports any issues that negatively affect product. 

Keeps work area clean and organized. 

Job Requirements:

Must have at least 1 yr of prior Machine Operator experience in a fast pace food manufacturer.

Must be able to lift 55 pounds 

Must be able to work entire shift on feet, and may push/pull equipment on rollers as needed.

Must be able to speak, read and write in basic English, perform math calculations and use a computer. 

Able to work in a hot or cold, and/or noisy environment.
