Job Description

We are currently looking for an inventory Supervisor in the city of Torrance. If you have 5-10 years of experience in Inventory Management and Inventory Planning then apply now! This position will be working Mon-Fri from 7am-3:30pm and is offering up to $25/hr depending on experience.


  • Inventory Control: Monitor and control inventory integrity. Maintain product identification and location program. Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them.

  • Inventory Management: Responsible for the day-to-day function of the inventory process. Oversee the movement of inventory within the warehouse, from receipt to shipment.

  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly inventory analysis to all appropriate personnel.

  • Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.

  • Supervision: Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the inventory team. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.


  • 5-10 years of experience in Inventory

  • Prior experience as an Inventory Supervisor

  • Good knowledge of data analysis and inventory management software.

  • An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.

  • Outstanding organizational and planning skills.

Knowledge and Abilities:

1. Proficiency in using the M1 ERP System.

2. Familiarity with submittals and product knowledge (ALUZ and CALI).

3. Strong data entry skills and knowledge of data entry methods and techniques.

4. Understanding of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment.

5. Effective telephone techniques and etiquette.

6. Advance Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).

7. General clerical and record-keeping abilities.

8. Accurate and reasonably fast typing skills.

9. Competence in operating standard office equipment.

10. Ability to follow oral and written directions.

11. Skills in scanning, shredding, and maintaining an organized workspace.
