Mortuary Science/Crematory Operator in Fort Collins 

Job Title: Crematory Operator 

Pay Rate: $20.00 + DOE 

Schedule: Monday through Friday offering flexible start times 

Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

•As a Crematory Operator, you will be responsible for seeing that the remains are correctly received, processed, and returned to the family •You may also assist with transporting the deceased from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner’s offices to the funeral home •Compassion & Empathy: Care for the deceased respectfully while performing all the tasks involved in the cremation process •Facility Maintenance: Maintain the crematorium, equipment, and adjacent facilities 

•Meticulous Attention: Receive remains and ensure all documentation is complete and visual identification of the deceased is complete and accurate 

•Critical Thinking: Receive instructions for multiple tasks, determine the ideal order for the tasks, and complete them promptly •Certified Cremation Technician (CCT) certificate a plus 

Job Requirements: 

Must have 2+ years in a human or pet mortuary environment. 

Must be willing to work in a warm environment. 

Must be able to lift up to 120lbs. 

Must be comfortable working with biological remains.
