We are now looking for Freight Clerks in the Aurora are for full time work!

Pay Rate:$21-$23/hour

Schedule: 

Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30pm 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the processing of customer shipments. Essential Functions:

Uses Syspro system to print shipping documents (pick list, packing slip and bill of lading)

Uses internet to access carrier web sites for rates, routing, scheduling and tracking

Calculates freight Class using weights and dimensions supplied by the material handlers and order selectors

Obtains rate quotes based on size, class, destination and any special requirements

Routes and schedules shipments based on rates and customer instructions

Completes shipping documents, attaches pros and schedules carrier pick-ups

 Assist order selectors when needed in validation of orders, labeling of shipments and entering of small package shipments in freight carrier systems

 Assist customer service re-routing shipments, tracking information and movement of returns

Participates in inventories.

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent vocational school

Minimum 1-3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
