Overview: The Quality Control Technician supports production processes, maintains presence on the floor and is accessible to production staff when questions arise. They will be working for a snack mix warehouse with various soy, wheat, and dried food products.

Duties Performed:

-Performs quality checks of raw, work in process, and finish product through inspection and visual checks of packaging

-Performs Pre-op inspections and swabs as necessary

-Performs daily GMP audits in production and in the warehouse

-Collects and logs production/processing samples

-Ensures all non-conforming products are placed on hold and fully documented.

-Investigates complaints and inspects product as directed

-Processes daily retain and destoner samples and inspection reports

-Processes all mis-picks and damaged bulk from warehouse

-Inspects end-of-life retain samples

-Compliance to all GMPs, Food Safety, Food Defense as regulated by the company, as well as OSHA regulations
