PRODUCTION PLANNER

Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

$25 - $30/hr BOE

 

The Production Planner reviews contract requirements as summarized on a sales order, determines and orders materials required, and schedules the work required so that the material will be produced in an efficient and timely manner.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Review and become familiar with all drawings, specifications, and other documents regarding customer orders.

Prepare and distribute shipping forecasts and ship dates.

Coordinate with the assigned Laboratory Technician for accomplishment of all testing of material.

Determine product packaging and shipping requirements.

Perform stock checks for manufactured product and update customer service personnel as needed.

Maintains manufacturing inventory.

Notify supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.

Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

SKILLS:

High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Experience interpreting work orders to the extent required to write manufacturing work orders with adequate clarity and detail for plant use.

Computer data entry experience or must be able to exhibit a proficiency at data entry.

 

Ability to pass background check and drug test

Must be eligible to work in the USA
