Shift: 1st Monday - Thursday 7:00am -4:00pm Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $21.00

Duties

• Accept or reject product, materials, or articles; identify and document non-conformances to engineering, specifications, & standards and notify appropriate personnel of potential rejection of items.
• Inspection of all fiber optic cables.
• Inspection of incoming items.
• Inspection of in process assembly.
• Accept or reject product, materials, or articles; identify and document non-conformances to engineering, specifications, & standards
• Report discrepancies to Supervision and Management.
• Perform mathematical functions for weight measurements, torque conversions, and dimensional measurements.
• Ensure measurement equipment is well maintained and operates accurately.
• Sorts and stages all incoming inventory for inspection.
• Provides support as needed for final inspection.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Track/record job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronic formats.
• Accurately record product information, traceability requirements, labor hours, and inspection results of multiple product lines through logs and computer databases.

Requirements

• Must have keen attention to detail and quality.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, except under abnormal circumstances.
• Must be proficient with data entry, and the use of computer resources.
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions and interpret drawings, schematics, specifications, and standards.
