Local Distribution Center in Napa is now hiring for an Sales Operations Manager! Temp to hire OR permanent placement!
Sales Operations Manager
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (There are no remote or hybrid options and no flexibility.)
Pay rate: $72,800-$83,500/annual
Job Duties:
Sales Operations: (90%)
• Liaison for Sales Operations and other departments including Production, Quality and Finance.
• Manages annual pricing updates of customers in conjunction with Sales Management, which
includes price list creation, pricing notification and distribution of forms completed.
• Reviews daily orders for CSR.
• Supports Sales Management with monthly and quarterly Budget data.
• Responsible for all Sales Operations SOP creation and updates.
• Maintains Confidentiality Agreements with direct customers and ensures proper filing in company
records.
• Manages 2 direct reports (CSR and Direct Sample Coordinator) and provides back up to each as
needed during out of office occurrence.
• CSR back-up may include:
i. Order administration
ii. Distribution center liaison
iii. Main line inquiries
• Direct Sample Coordinator back-up may include:
i. Sample request verification and order administration
ii. Sample requests follow up
• Assists Sales Management with projects as needed.
• Individually, and in conjunction with managers and staff, assures all safety criteria are met or exceeded
through regular observation and participation in safety meetings.
Quality Assurance: (10%)
• Receives and processes all QA requests from Distributor customers, Manufacturers, End Users and
prospective customers working with Quality personnel and Sales Managers.
• Manages Sales Operations recall process and participates in monthly and annual recall in conjunction
with Sales Management and Quality.
Job Requirements
Education/Experience: BA/BS required in addition to 4 - 5 years of work in Sales Operations or
Sales Administration support.
Skills: Team-oriented and independently motivated/disciplined with demonstrated ability to provide
exceptional customer service. Excellent telephone etiquette, verbal, and written communication skills.
-At least 1-2 years of previous experience.
-Attention to detail.
-Intermediate level of knowledge in excel.
-Organizational skills.
-Experienced with Microsoft Office. Any experience with Navision would be helpful.
