Schedule 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday
Pay rate $17-$19
Position Summary: The Assembly Technician is responsible for working at various stations and performing multiple functions including assembling and testing electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies, gluing sub assemblies, and mechanical assembly of force measurement products. Assembly Technicians work closely with production management to ensure timely and quality manufacturing of products.
Essential Job Functions:
• Gluing of sub-assemblies using 2-part epoxy
• General mechanical assembly utilizing hand, powered, or pneumatic tools
• Integrating PCBs and other electronic components into Bertec products
• Solder wiring to PCB boards
• Assembly of wire harnesses, cables, and electronic sub-assemblies
• Calibration and testing of product
• Physical handling of components, including lifting up to 70 lbs. / 140 lbs team-lift
Qualifications for Success:
• High School Diploma
• Microsoft Office Knowledge (Word, Excel)
• Ability to read Blueprint/Wiring Schematics
• Maintain records of product calibration and testing
• Prior electronics assembly experience a plus
• Prior soldering experience a plus (will train)
• Prior mechanical assembly a plus
