We are currently Recruiting for Manual and CNC Machinists for a growing company in Hall County
Job Title: Manual Machinists and CNC Machinists
Pay Rate: $ $25.00- $ 30.00 (depending on Experience)
Schedule (2nd shift $6:00pm - 4:00am. (with some weekends as needed).
Job Duties/Responsibilities
The CNC Machinist is responsible for the set-up and operation of a variety of computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools to produce or repair/refurbish precision parts in conformance with the Company’s requirements for safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Calculate dimensions or tolerances of workpieces, products, or equipment, using instruments such as micrometers or vernier calipers.
- Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
- Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
- Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
- Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.
- Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
Job Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent and Trade school Vocational training preferred.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in Manual/CNC Machining with Mills and Lathes .
Some experience with Hass or similar machine with 3 to 4 axies are preferred.
