Our building materials client seeks an Accounting Coordinator for their accounting team at their manufacturing location in Macon, GA.   

Partners Personnel seeks an Account Coordinator for a direct hire position. Our client is a building materials manufacturer for both the commercial and high-end residential markets. They are highly customer focused with providing excellence in products that are durable, beautiful, and environmentally conscious.  Description


Position Summary: The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for processes all daily incoming cash, compiles and maintains accounts payable records, and assists with other various accounting duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enters all incoming cash into ERP system (IFS)  and necessary spreadsheets for tracking.
  • Assists Accounts Receivable Specialist with cash tracking.
  • Prepares and enters accounts payable invoices.
  • Assists team with processing freight invoices.
  • Answers vendor inquiries.
  • Assists other team members with weekly document control and check processing.
  • Assist in monthly closings.
  • Adhere to daily and month end financial timelines.
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

 

 QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must a good financial/credit history (background check will include your financial information and credit report). 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience preferred. 
  • Business to Business with large invoice amounts for a manufacturer preferred
  • Intermittent in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, advanced organizational skills.
  • Must be detail orientated.
  • Ability to handle high volume transactions.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work and assist people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds
  • Experience working with International customers and vendors a plus 
  • Understand doing things right the first time is better than doing them over again
