We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist in our Edison, NJ distribution Center.

 

1st Shift Mon-Fri 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with regular, mandatory overtime for the time being as we are busy.

Pay rate $19.00 hr.

 

Forklift or reach truck/pallet jack a plus but not required.

 

Daily Task:

-Assure all paperwork is attached including pick slip and packing slip in Outbound, and packing list, receipts, and emails in Inbound.

-Validate work orders by inspecting material and confirm qualities.

-Follow reception condition checklist or outbound guidelines.

-Record virtually lines checked in the Outbound report log.

-Meet the schedule workflow.

-Ensure to maintain housekeeping of workstation.

-Report outstanding issues to management.

 

Required qualifications:

-High attention to detail and the ability to count and recognize different sequences of numbers and letters is a must for this position.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills as this position is customer facing

-Ability to read, speak and write in English

-Basic computer skills of email and Office (Excel)

-Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, overtime as required

-Demonstrates a high-quality work ethic by exhibiting professional attitude, honesty, and integrity

-High school diploma or equivalent

-Other duties as outlined by leadership.

-1-3 years experience
